Collaboration Across the Automotive and Semiconductor Supply Chains

The growing interdependencies of the automotive and semiconductor supply chains and the relentless pace of innovation led SEMI to form the Global Automotive Advisory Council (GAAC) in 2018, a platform where all members of the electronics ecosystem can freely and safely collaborate. Participants discuss shared challenges as well as opportunities that are addressed collectively, often in working groups, in a secure environment. The gaps identified in the automotive and semiconductor supply chains led Volkswagen (now CARIAD SE, A Volkswagen Company) and Entegris to collaborate on resolving functional safety and performance challenges while the automotive sector is evolving its products from primarily “mechanical” to “digital” machines.

Register to Hear About:

- The evolution of an electronics-driven automotive supply chain
- SEMI GAAC’s broad collaboration model spanning the entire value chain from raw materials to end product
