SEMI MEMS and Sensors Industry Group has created a Sensor Solutions Partnership (SSP) program with its member companies to connect sensor manufacturers with end customers. The initial focus of the SSP program is on Smart Cities. Smart Cities require numerous sensor types, and the market for these sensors is large ($84B) and predicted to grow by about 25% CAGR between 2000 and 2027. In this free webinar series, we cover the Sensorization of Smart Cities which will describe how different sensor technologies are being deployed in transportation, environmental quality, and resources and infrastructure.
Smart Cities require many different sensors and the data collected needs to be sent from the IoT edge to the cloud where it can be made into actionable events.
